If you’re usually questioning how Bollywood actors manage to stay so fit and gain and lose weight on command, it’s presumably because of their marvellous diets. Don’t get it mistaken, exercise and discipline matters a lot, but hey, if you’re having chicken tikka masala all day and working out for an hour, that may not work at all for you.
Bollywood actors have to adapt their appearance and their build, according to their next project. Take Aamir Khan for instance. The actor had to grow a lot of weight for his play in ‘Dangal’, and consequently, lose all of it for the extra part of the movie. What makes it comfortable for them? A guide telling them what to do!
From the likes of Sonam Kapoor to Parineeti Chopra and the several Khans, Bollywood has considered weight loss very sincerely and with that, their diet.

The actor prefers entire roots of protein in line to keep a sound body like egg whites, chicken and fish, while totally dodging sugar and treated foods. What’s his source of carbs, you might question? Dals and salads!
- Aamir Khan
Aamir Khan is one star who reaches all out in order to lose/gain weight. His diet combines a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, with water being a better part of the diet. Aside from consuming three to four litres of water per day, the star also has lemon water in the middle of workouts to eliminate acids from the body. He does not eat oily food and distributes his food consumption into five to six times a day. He eats chapattis made of three-grain wheat bajra, jowar and atta.

A large breakfast is a necessity for John Abraham, who has pure juice, six egg whites, slabs of buttered toast and ten almonds for breakfast. Concerning the rest of the day, he holds it light, making sure that he has the stability of carbs, fats, and proteins. He also does not consume alcohol.
Ranveer Singh is assigned to an exhausting 12-week program that requires him to hit the gym twice a day for an hour and a half. His trainer Lloyd Stevens prepares his exercises which contain 40 minutes of power training and 25 minutes of cardio. He also supports exercises like swimming and jogging in his training to maximize results.
His mystery to a prosperous diet is to have a meal every three hours. He strictly complies timely eating and never skips meals. His diet constitutes of large protein content and low carb foods like veggies, tuna, chicken, turkey and etc.
As per the advice of his trainer, Ranveer has a healthful breakfast so that he can go finish his torturous work out sessions daily. He breaks his fast mainly with egg whites, bread and banana. For the bites between meals, he consumes dried fruits like almonds or has protein supplements.
